How do I buy a policy? +

Can I get a hard copy of my policy by mail? +
All policies are delivered electronically by email. If you need a hard copy, please contact us at hello@withsmithy.com.au.
Can I update my policy? +
We can help you update your policy if you need to change coverage dates, update your details, or adjust your coverage. Contact us at hello@withsmithy.com.au.
What can I do if I didn't get the policy email? +
Check your spam or junk folder first. If you still can't find it, email us at hello@withsmithy.com.au and we'll resend it.
How do I cancel my policy? +
We offer a full money back guarantee on any policy cancelled within 14 days of purchase. To cancel, simply get in touch with your policy number at hello@withsmithy.com.au.
I sold my aircraft — can I cancel my policy? +
Yes. Contact us with your policy number and the date of sale, and we'll arrange the cancellation and any applicable refund.
I'm not Australian, can I buy your insurance? +
Our policies are available to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, holders of a valid partner/spouse visa or skilled working visa, and New Zealand citizens permanently residing in Australia.
How long does a refund take to process? +
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of the cancellation being confirmed.
What is a Product Disclosure Statement, also called a PDS? +
The Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) contains important info about your policy. It's always available when you get a quote and will be included in your confirmation email.
Is my policy cancelled yet? +
You'll receive a cancellation confirmation by email. If you haven't received it, please contact us at hello@withsmithy.com.au.
I don't have my policy details, can you help me? +
After purchasing a policy, you'll receive your Schedule via email. If you can't find it, contact us and we'll help you locate it.
How do I claim? +
You can start a claim by emailing claims@withsmithy.com.au. Have your policy number handy along with any supporting documents.
